Swati Rangachari

Swati Rangachari joined Optum in the beginning of 2021 to lead public affairs and strategic engagements. As a well-respected expert and leader of public policy and industry relations, she creates synergies between the company’s goals and the government's vision of a stronger socioeconomic society. 

Swati counsels the leadership on symbiotic strategies that help with business protection and expansion while addressing the goals the government has set to achieve.  She supports the sustained growth of industries related to IT services and technologies, and digital and health care that will strengthen the future of Optum in India.  

Swati comes with over 25 years of experience and has held regional leadership positions in public policy, communications and brand for Boeing, Ericsson, Sterlite Tech and Visa.  She has chaired many industry committees that have furthered policy efforts for business transformation.

She has received key leadership awards and is a known public speaker. Her work life started as an entrepreneur. She has a post graduate diploma from Fore School of Management with an executive program from Boston University. 

Her personal passion is to make sustainability and health a way of life.
